Mother Mable and the Mighty Mystics

Classic Rock Hits!

It is with great sadness that we bring you the end of Mother Mable and the Mighty Mystics.  For the past three years, we have been honored to bring to our music to audiences around the region.  We have been humbled by the response we received at each venue we had the priveledge of playing.  Our fans are truly the best around.  But, as with any band, things change.  Band members move on.  New ones replace them.  Change is the only thing that stays the same.  One constant through this adventure has been the friendships we have made and still enjoy to this day.

Thanks need to be expressed to everyone that has been involved with Mother Mable.  The original members were Maurice Brines, Terry Barbee, Ken Barry, Dennis Plyler, Jody Edwards and Jim Edwards.   Wes Teeter joined the group in 2010 as well as Chas Holden.  Each one of these musicians brought a unique energy and talent with them.  They made Mother Mable a popular attraction in the area.  Thanks also need to be given to the families of each for their love and support through all of the long days and late, late nights gigging.  Their support was beyond measure.  Thanks go out to everyone that helped us out by running sound, or helping to promote the band,  thanks to all of the suppliers that helped us with gear, promotional materials, food, drinks or services.    Thanks also need to be expressed to all of the venues.  To Gus, Joe, Nancy and Pete at Amici's,  you are some of the finest folks a person could work with.  You have put great effort into your establishment and it's starting to pay off big for you.  We are tickled for your success and us being a part of that.  Thanks go to McHale's in Fort Mill.  We made our debut there and hold that close to our hearts.  Thanks to Midtown Sundries Universtiy, 40 Rod Roadhouse, the Relay for Life, the Cabarrus County Fair for allowing us to play.  There are others that no longer exist, and we wish you were still wtih us.

Mother Mable may return one day, who knows.  Music is funny that way.  In the meantime, we wish each and every one of you health and happiness in your lives.  We want you to know that we have enjoyed every minute we spent playing music and will continue on in various other adventures.  Mother Mable's influence will live on for years to come.

Thank you and may God bless you all.
